Ocean’s Elite Volleyball Club will provide a safe, stable environment for the growth of young women in the sport of volleyball and everyday life. Viewing sports as a microcosm of life itself we believe that the lessons taught to our athletes will have a positive impact on not only their volleyball aspirations, but more importantly on their life aspirations as well.
Ocean’s Elite’s first objective is to create an atmosphere that families will enjoy and appreciate being associated with.
Ocean’s Elite’s second objective is to teach specific technical and tactical components of volleyball that will allow the athletes to utilize their athleticism to its fullest potential, both individually and within the framework of the team.
The Ocean’s Elite Volleyball Club was founded in 2006 at the urging of a few athletes and their families. These athletes and families wanted an environment where the athletes could grow as individuals in the sport of volleyball and at the same time enjoy the successes of their teammates and team.
There was only one team in the first year and it was on an invitation only basis. The goals of the club were met with resounding success; the team and individual players did well, enhanced their skills and returned to their respective schools better players and leaders.
